Arriving by Night Bus

I arrived in Bangalore via plane last week and have been recuperating at the lovely home of Warren and Jani.  Being back in Bangalore is a little like going home-had no desire to take pictures since I felt that I wasn't a tourist.  But back on the move, taking the night bus from Bangalore to Villupuram has inspired me to take out the camera and begin capturing my time here.

Although the night bus I took was rated as a semi-sleeper it should have been renamed the semi-shaker.  Our driver was very eager to get to Pondicherry, so going about 80 miles per hour on the highway and possibly 65-70 miles per hour through bumpy, twisting roads passing construction trucks, we arrived an hour ahead of schedule at approximately 2:45am.

Luckily the power was working at SAMSSS and the air conditioner had cool-dried the air enough to fall into a deep sleep for the next 6 hours.
